REVIEW: ELF Moisturizing Foundation Stick

SKIN TYPE: Oily, Dry, Acne-prone

PACKAGING: Black Matte Glass Bottle

REVIEW: Eversince I started modelling when I was in my pre-teen stage, I was already developing acne (I started my menstruation at 5th grade) Learning to use makeup at a young age, I cover my acne with make up all the time not knowing how to wash my face properly and to clean my makeup brushes. I had to stop wearing foundation (the only makeup I used at that period). Fast forward to highschool, I used different kinds of products from L.A Girl, Maybelline, and ELF. These brands are great for foundation but I never really found my OTP (One True Pair, lol) Pressed powders were great but they don't last through the day, I always need to retouch it since my face becomes oily; Cream foundations were kinda sticky on my face; Liquid foundations becomes oily through the day; UNTIL I discovered ELF's Moisturizing Foundation Stick the fun part is I have an oily and at the same time dry skin and this foundation has a matte finish but it moisturizes my face at the same time. This foundation lasts through the day,It's also very easy to blendb because it has a powder finish, blending it within the day resolves to an automic matte finish again. (TWO THUMBS UP! Because you don't have to re-apppy the foundation, just blend it again when it gets cracky)

PRICE: P450

Game Changer

What's up?

This is probably something I wouldn't post in my site because I like to keep this exclusive for outfit ideas (and the like) But since I realized that I should just share my thoughts and not care about what others may think (I know others may be judging me by saying " Go put it on Tumblr, not on your website) --so if you don't wanna read it. LEAVE.

I came across this famous international blogger Essena Oneill, she deleted all her social media accounts and left us with the link to her (Website -Now who the hell is Essena Oneill? She's an inspirational fashion/lifestyle blogger who speaked out the truth about social media and how it made her life UNREAL. By "unreal" she actually meant it like #FitnessGoals not being goals at all because she grew up with a slim body and she didn't really have to work extra hard to become thin.

Essena's words really hit me to the core. (Not that I'm anyone famous with 500k followers who think I'm #goals) But I'm also a victim of feeling appreciated only when social media approved of it. Feeling contented with myself only when I get a hundred likes on Instagram. All these things came to me like knives stabbing me to try even harder to become better looking and fit. I would do everything to lose 10 pounds as fast as I can. I tried slimming pills and risked my health for that. But I guess I'm over it. I just want to be me. I still like to lose my extra pounds but not because I like others to praise me for having a fit body, but because I wanna do it for myself, and not for others. Because I want to be healthier not so I could post a bikini picture.

The best way to probably start this GAME CHANGER thing is to go back to where I fiest started appreciating myself. I started blogging way before it became a trend. I started blogging because I like expressing my thoughts online through writing. I always thought that it would ruin my website if I would post stuff like this. But I shouldn't care what others think because this is my website and I should be real and not some girl who's just trying to put a website for the sake of it. Because I know very well that I wasn't like that before blogging decided to be mainstream and all these so called "bloggers" post empty blogposts filled with pictures and not with words. That's why I would write and post it on my private tumblr account, so that no one could see it. But I'm sooo done trying to be who I'm not. I'm so done trying to please others.

#MYFIRSTGAMECHANGER move is to post more of my thoughts here rather than filling this website with photos from shoots and not even telling them how I felt at that moment, because some moments are just good to be shared than to be filtered with words that would look pleasing for the eyes of others.

#ThrowbackWithLouise - 6/14/15

Another #ThrowbackWithLouise post because I have been on hiatus for too long.

These are some of the pictures I took when I was gone. Some important scenarios for the past few months (January-May) My laptop is currently broken and the only way I was able to put up this post it through Blogaway App. Blogger isn't compatible in the Phillippines, it would have been easier for me to use that app than this one. Heading over to what this post is all about, let's take a sneak peek to what happened to me while I was gone

#ThrowbackWithLouise -Year End Blog Post

It's Wednesday today.. but since I want to motivate myself this coming 2015 to update my blog more often, I've decided to have this " #Throwback with Louise " atleast once every two weeks, I'll try to update weekly but I'm fully loaded with school works & plates.

1.) This was taken from my photo shoot with my ultimate favorite photographer, my love, Josh Mateo. I was supposed to have a photo shoot with one of my blogger friends but I lost contact with her because we kept on rescheduling dates & our time doesn't seem to meet :( Sad. But I'll surely have more free time after the break, and since Josh isn't here in Manila right now, I have no photographer with me yet also, So no more shoots this break yet.

2.) I am just in love with this black pieces. I bought this Quilted PU Skirt from Zalora ( www.zalora.com.ph ) use discount coupon: ZBAPQ2FR to get 15% discount on your first purchase. No expiry & transferrable! Just use a different email to avail of the discount if it's not your first purchase ;) #easytweezy! This sexy pointed heels is from Primadonna, I got it for free since my cousin is the owner of Primadonna. I'll post my Primadonna collection soon here on my blog!

Collaboration with Blogger Ellah Quieta (@elleur)

This was really an unexpected thing for me. I found Ellah on Instagram via the popular's page, where someone I'm following might have liked her photo. It was fate that bought me to her Instagram account. (lol) I never really had a collab-photoshoot yet with any blogger-friend. I followed her Instagram because I saw that she has really nice feed, and I immediately messaged her asking her if she wants to have a collab-photoshoot with me. She agreed but unfortunately she lives at Cagayan De Oro (which is a plane ride away from me) so there was no way we're going to see each other. But luckily, she got invited to Forever 21's Fashion Week and she wen't here in Manila for a week; hence we were able to meet with each other and have this photoshoot. I also invited one of my new blogger friends, @candytesoro but she wasn't able to join us because she was busy, but maybe I could catch up with a shoot with her soon :>
